Musings on a world I am no longer sure about

Old. Cor!

So I’ve not written in a week because I’m rubbish and only ever write this when I’m commuting. Bah. So sue me! I’ve mostly been feeling crap for a week - which is a pisser, as I’ve been off work on holiday all week and felt about as lively as a wet fish. Am on time this morning - cool - though it’s raining, which means the District Line is being randomly shite and I may or may not be punctual for work. Plus I’m knackered, but more of that later... Friday Arranged to meet a lovely guy called Dominic after work - couple of pints after work and then back to mine. Felt crap but managed OK considering I was knackered. Damn he’s fit. So much for being off chicken... Saturday was the day of ref:Mother Arrival. She was staying at the Metropole - kindly organised by ref:Shaun - so popped down to see her in the afternoon and went shopping for a very swanky answerphone and cordless system with two handsets. Birthdays are fun! Then back home to find Adam and rush off to meet people at Browns for birthday drinks. Steak. Chips. Chianti. More Chianti. Veuve. More Chianti. Etc. Finished up and wandered off to drop Mum and Andy at the tube and then we went off to the Swan where Owen was meeting a lovely pastry chef called Kieran, who we all chatted to. Adam got pissed and fell off the stage and spent the rest of the evening with an icepack on his back. Drag act called Dolly Rocket was on. Unmitigated shite. Ah well. Snuck 2x Newcastle Brown out in Adam’s back pockets (*snigger*) and went home where Danny coded like a bastard and Adam attempted not to vomit anywhere. Up earlyish Sunday Sat online doing very little. Monday. The day of the birthday. Again did very little until the evening, when I decided that moping on my birthday was a bad thing and I should go for a drink. Oh yes. Clever me! Went to Retro where I bumped into a slightly sozzled olliecook - he bought me a couple of drinks, then we headed off to 79CXR for more. Managed to get a table on account of someone trying to glass someone else...wiped glass off the seat/table and sat down for more beer. Bumped into a fab drunken northern woman called Fran - reminded me entirely of the female Lister in Red Dwarf III and not in a bad way - and also bumped into an ex called Kan whom I’ve not seen in about 4 years. Ollie left, I ended up staying until the bitter end drinking with Kan’s ex - then home in a cab that I don’t really remember. Tuesday .. Well...I woke up, brushed my hand over my face and went “Ow” at around the same time I noticed a huge lump and gash on my forehead. I still have no idea where that came from. Other than that I had a jolly hangover and did fuck all apart from be annoying at people online. Result! Wednesday I got up fairly early and sat online a bit. Tidied a bit too. Chatted a bit to Adam who’d reappeared at some point on Tuesday. Bought two fallicly named pizzas, one each. “Bulk Meat” and “Hot Meat”. Ate about 2 slices of my Hot Meat before dying and giving up on it even with pints of water. Watched some of Dune with Adam. William’s houseboy Gaz came over for photos. They came out really well and all the scary old men seem to love them, which is lovely...earlyish to bed. Thursday I had to be up early for Dulux launch photoshoot. Felt shite and fluey, so don’t know if I made a good impression on Richard - pics came out ok though I think - still waiting to hear back from them about which they like... Back home by lunch and I’m getting complemented by all the scary old men about Gaz’s photos which was fun...found Mark on gaydar so got him to join here (glasshouse). Felt crappy so did a couple of little tidies up of code here and there on the site then went to bed. Friday was dull...so did bugger all and then went to Retro for about 9ish - tried to get Dominic to come too but he wouldn’t...bah. Met up with Owen and Danny and that lot. Was Ollie’s birthday so him an Adam were meant to be having a cozy<
