Ahoy! Rather good sci-fi novel by Frank Herbert that works like an onion, plans within plans, plots within plots...full o intrigue n scary booty like that.
So far bin made into two excellent movies, both different in style, both coverin that thar book incompletely. that thar second version was then followed, this year, by “Children o Dune” which was amazingly good n gorgeously produced, even though it was only done by that thar Sci-Fi Channel

Arr... Anythin with Alec Newman in a loincloth gets me vote for purely shallow reasons.
But that thar Sci-Fi Channel adaptations are extremely good even if ye don’t consider that.
