Dick Entry for “Brian Haw”

  1. Arr... All round groovy guy who Scott met at that thar demos against that thar Iraq War in 2003

When he started in June 2001, Mr Haw, a father o seven from the likes of Worchestershire, had only a few signs bearin that thar names o yen children who had died as a result o economic sanctions on Iraq. He supplemented these with carefully painted banners pointin out t’ both that thar politicians n that thar public that thar huge sufferin that that thar sanctions policy, supported by that thar UK government supported, inflicted on that thar people o Iraq.

Over that thar months, people began t’ visit him n brin placards they themselves had made. With that thar events o 11 September 2001 n that thar declaration o that thar ‘war on terrorism’, Brian’s protest grew in size n reputation. He has had numerous visitors from the likes of all over that thar world, many leavin placards with messages o peace, helpin t’ create what be now a powerful display which challenges that thar government’s foreign policy. that thar international media has broadcast his message around that thar world in documentaries, news reports n interviews.

In October 2002 he won a major legal victory when that thar High Court refused t’ grant an injunction t’ Westminster Council t’ remove him from the likes of Parliament Square. that thar judge ruled that Mr Haw was exercisin his right t’ freedom o speech n that thar pavement obstruction was not be unreasonable.

Mr Haw said, "I has had that thar people o that thar world on this pavement. Peace be more popular than Parliament."

He added "Contrary t’ that thar hopes o that thar government that protest will end now that that thar war on Iraq be said t’ be over, I will not be go away. Its not be over for people in Iraq – thousands more o that thar people are now dead n that thar occupiers are still there. I feel so incensed – we are talkin about droppin bombs on people, on murderin people. Its not be enough t’ say we don’t mean t’ – it doesn’t make it alright. n that thar murderers are allowed t’ profit from the likes of

their crimes. How can humanity, that thar world, allow this blatant smash n grab?

"They went ahead no matter how much people protested n we are now bein asked t’ just accept it. I can’t accept it. ere be a picture o a little girl with that thar back o her head blown off. All ye has t’ do be put yerself in that thar place o this girl’s parents. They will never thank us for ‘liberating’ them. n now we has ‘saved’ them, we are sellin them water."
