Blergh. So I upgraded Novak to Fedora 15, whilst in the process of this, the kernel upgrade mentioned that it had a teeny problem with its postinstall script but that it was nothing to worry about and that I should have a cup of tea.

When I rebooted,  the server couldn’t find its drives.

Careless, right? I mean, the drives are up her skirts, how can she not find them?

Took me a day to work out that what’d happened was that the dracut utility hadn’t run, so she’d not been given the information she needed to actually access the drives, as if someone had given her a toybox but neglected to pass the keys over.

Anyways, all back to life again now. Though, with 4 hours sleep I think I could use a nap... ^^
