Dental horreur

3 hours in the dentist chair yesterday. A nerve drilled into without anaesthetic. Two extra holes in a tooth and a couple of temporary fillings. Then I’m told I need a root canal as this is all just temporary.
I don’t like dentists.

I will be stood, resting against the river wall
Watching the tide flow out
Allegpry for my life
As in my minds’ eye
I see all the chances I never took
