Commuting
Stopped by a policeman for no reason. Almost run over by a huge queue of ridiculous summer cyclists zooming through lights. Billions of cars leading to massive delays and tailbacks. All because we have a public transport system in London that’s run for the benefit of rich shareholders and not for the people it serves.
My commute sucked. But not as much as the reasons for the strike. I just wish everyone on facebook moaning about their commute and blaming RMT and/or Bob Crow for TFLs mismanagement had the ability to stop being selfish for half an hour and actually understand this. You pay over the average for an under par public transport system in London.
How often at weekends is the tube not running? Ever wondered why? It’s because paying people to work at night costs more and eats into profits.
Why do we let corporations make a profit running public services?
Why do we assume it’s the fault of the strikers?

All work and no play makes Scott a dull boy
Glasto camping was lovely. Really nice weather (apart from the rain), lovely company (apart from the wasps) and good food (apart from the vegetarians).
Flying a parafoil on top of the tor was slightly fraught with danger a bit.
Sat on King Arthur’s (alleged) grave.
Fed fish the size of sharks.
Generally chilled out and relaxed. Lookie at the photos
