...that I’m in shape, it’s just that the particular shape I’m in is round Deployment yesterday morning, so had to be up at 5:30 to be in work for 7 — cycling at that time of day is gorgeous as there’s no traffic. Plus the sun had just come up so it was that intriguing blend of crisp but warm as the sun rose higher behind my back. Deployment mostly went well, aside from a couple of hitches. Spent the rest of the day dealing with handset special offers, which I’ll be finishing this afternoon (I hope). It’s a bit more interesting, involving a bit of java as well as the usual JSP rubbish. Because of the deployment I finished at 3:30 yesterday. Decided to take a left at Old Street and cycle up to Islington to see if I could pick up Regent’s Canal — found it and cycled home slowly along it. Was gorgeous weather and a really nice ride Got home (via Lidl) with my usual enthusiasm to do freakcity stuff only to find that my enthusiasm fell off and I simply watched telly (Hitchikers film...why? And x-men as I’d not seen it in a while). Doctor Who is getting remarkably tedious. Bed earlyish as I was knackered. However I seem to have managed to wake up at stupid-o’clock so BAH. Oh well * Scott slopes off to sip his coffee and eat his porridge...
