Still seems to be loads left to do to the station before it’s finished, but it’s pretty, I’ll give it that. So I’m currently sat in first class on a Eurostar destined for Paris. The horror. All the test trains have been delayed, which is marvellous fun. The station seems filled with pensioners, gays and trainspotters. Matt and Craig are here, TJ missed his first train but is here too and rangitoto is somewhere lurking too. This train goes to the London tunnel entrance and then back and I then have to catch two others, to say thanks, we all get free tickets on Eurostar I’ve been a bit quiet blogwise of late, been busy working and stuff. On support all week so I get to have zero fun until Monday. Bah. Had a cold all week too, which has been a bit vile, though Liam came over on Tues and made me dinner, which was nice. Bike is in for a service today, they say they’ll replace the bell, yay. Fireworks on Saturday. Have decided that Blackheath is too much hassle this year so we’re going to wander to Victoria Park instead. Might also be seeing Freddie on Friday evening for a (non-alcoholic) drink. Orange’s baubles hopefully went live this morning, so I might get back to doing some proper work soon. Not much more to say really. Bought Novak a new case from Scan on Monday which I fitted yesterday evening. It’s now far quieter than it was, which is lovely. Need to work out how to get it to boot from DVD soon though, need to upgrade to fedora 7 which requires relabelling the file systems, which I can’t do if any of them are mounted. Might have a fiddle tonight I think.
