Musings on a world I am no longer sure about

Smiling through the clouds

Random blog title ahoy! ; ) Well. We’re 4 next week. Yay us... I decided last night that sleep is for the weak, evidently, as I got about an hour’s worth. Some things really suck. Saturday I bought cables for Novak. Installed them Sunday morning, it seems to be more stable now, which is a good thing. No SMART errors, no random unmounting of partitions, no bad blocks. Goodness ; ) Fucking around with the lovely stuff I built for google gadgets. Have gotten the static HTML version to work but the gadget itself looks at me and says “no”. So I’m cunting sulking until they fucking work. The ONLY reason this is taking so long to do is because I’m trying to do some amazing DHTML to hide the fact our data is practically non-existent. Next time I think I’m just going to make a static gadget that does fuck all and whine about the data instead... Work Friday. Free Bar. Owwy head for most of Saturday. Bought cables and some more shiny balls as well as an amazingly phallic Tasco portable reflector telescope that’s pretty groovy and looks like a 60s rocketship crossed with an enormous buttplug. You can’t see it in the pic but the business end has a pointy cover too which adds to the excitement. I showed Chris and he suggested I put it in me. The dirty bitch. Heh. Earlyish night on Saturday on account of being half dead. Then up early on Sunday for the aforementioned cable shuffling exercise. Tried to fit more ram into fire too but failed. Inadvertently broke DNS for freakcity by not remembering that “#” is not how one comments a zone file. Giggle. Life was easier when I had jamesog to hold my hand and point out when I was being retarded. Fire failed to eat any ram whatsoever so I reset it and decided afterwards it was too damn sunny to stay in. Popped to PC world where I discovered to my horror that SDRAM is £50 for 256mb, which is obscene. Biked over to Café Verde for some breakfast and suggested to Justin via the power of IRC that we should cycle down to Hyde Park. Headed home *burp* and had a quick shower and tidy. Found the charger for my helicopter and plugged it in. It started up, then it started smoking and then I unplugged it. All whilst turned “off”. Bah. I’ll have to dismember it and work out what’s shorting out I think, either that or just consign it to the rubbish bin of life. Pumped up my tyres a bit and oiled much of my bike. God does it need a clean. Ah well, at least it’s running a lot better : ) Headed to Tower to meet Justin, got the guided tour round his office, it’s pretty and fluffy and stuff. Headed on up to CEX on Tott Court Road via the South Bank (STUPID! DON’T EVER CYCLE ALONG THE SOUTH BANK EVER AGAIN ON A SUNNY SATURDAY!) eventually got there to discover that they had no SDRAM either and that Maplin was the same price as PC World. Headed to Green park via Tesco and picnic stuff. Met up with a friend of Justin’s and ate foods. Justin got the train home, I cycled round a bit more and then went to photograph BMXers on the South Bank. Headed home via the sauna and a lovely jacuzzi that was only slightly spoiled by someone “accidentally” falling onto my cock and then sulking when I told them to go away. Grr. Gays! Home at a sensible time, eventually fixed DNS after working out what I’d done wrong and hammering the desk with my head a bit. Slept REALLY badly. Bah. Odd dreams an shizz. Other night I had a dream about having witnessed a burglary in Italy in full Dolby Digital and Panavision. Complete with film noir style characters, unneeded tragedy, death and my old Spanish teacher, who wasn’t my old spanish teacher but my old boss at Opodo with a funny accent. Well, funnier than her native Australian one. We all ended up camping and drowned a bit. My head is in dire need of an outlet for creativity I think. Last night I wrote a letter in my head and dream
