Internet isn’t everything – honest!

+Friday+ I decided I need Photoshop at work - so I borrowed Elements from home - will see if it’s good enough for my purposes : D My new charger for my laptop arrived Thurs but they couldn’t deliver so I wandered down to the sorting office to pick it up, eventually finding the heavily camouflaged entry eventually, then got the bus to Mile End and the tube to work. Met with Owen after work. Ate pie. Showed him the new flat - he seemed impressed. He tried on a cockring and tried to get me to suck it to make it hard but there were children present. Owen pointed out he’d already slept with mogwai and so it’s not like he’d not seen it before - I pointed out that that wasn’t the point. Earlyish night. Up before anyone else on Saturday Tidied some kitchen, put the washing out. Alan commented that it seemed I was in a very domestic mood - I told him it was just because no other fucker would do it. He sympathised. Sorted more of my room out and put all the wires in my PC, ready to put it back together. Mail arrived, Wireless PCI card for my PC and a tenancy for the new flat and also a letter from the letting agency telling me I owe them £150 for cleaning the old flat (because of the state it was in, apparently it’d had to be professionally cleaned before any work could be done to it. Grr. Mentioned the kitchen was a state, which it wasn’t, and that they’d found cotton buds blocking the bathroom sink, which I don’t use. So either James, David or Adam had used them and put them down the sink or it’s all a pile of crap). Will try and do Cati’s wedding video tonight (if I can find the DV camera). Decided we need a bookshelf and so took mogs to Stratford to buy one. Argos were out of stock. Grr. Decided to go to Beckton to see if they had any at Argos there as the 262 goes directly there. Tube surfing on the Central line just so you have free hands with which to write your blog is very entertaining when you’re not accidentally standing on people : D The 262 didn’t go straight there. The 262 stopped in East Beckton. Buses were only going that far because of “traffic” (Bad traffic? In London? Who’d have guessed?) so we were stranded with only a Matalan and a Woolies to choose from. So we chose Woolies - we may now be from Poplar but we still have *some* taste... Found fuck all in there - so eventually managed to get a 262 going in the correct direction that *was* going to the right place - just in time for Argos to be shut and for torrential rain to hit. Gah! Went to Staples (which was still open, fortunately) and then headed home with 6ft of pine shelving unit on the bus. With a mad Australian woman driving who couldn’t help but shout at other drivers ("It’s ok, I did see them! I *can* drive you know!" as she almost ploughed through a mother and child on a zebra crossing and got flashed at by the driver of the bus coming the other way). Home, I cooked lasagne as mogs constructed shelving...ate dinner then ventured cautiously out into the battlefield that is Chrisp St market at ten on a Saturday evening. Walked past a pub teeming with chavs - S Club 7 blaring out of the door. Briefly considered that it could be mistaken for GAY and wondered if they realised...then got to the offie, waded through chavs on bikes and acquired Stella and trundled home. Really doesn’t feel terribly safe out there. Glad there were two of us. Maybe I’ll get a large weapon. Fnarr... James and Alan were out at XXL so we had decided to just stay in and watch telly as we were poor. Mogs has never seen The Lost Boys before so I educated him in 80s trash films. He liked it a lot : D I’d forgotten how hot Jason Patric used to be... Earlyish night, but was woken by James at 1:30am asking me where in XXL I was, I informed him I was in bed. Then woken at 4:30 by Owen texting me wi
