Musings on a world I am no longer sure about
yay! No!
In good news, I won a libretto high performance battery
In bad news I lost a 32mb ram upgrade by 2p
eBay is full of ups and downs. Maybe it’s a metaphor for life...
Mr Battery Man posted it a couple of days ago so should arrive today. He also has a Wifi card for a tenner, so I might get that for the libretto too. As it’s so ickle and cute and adorable. Then I shall slap linux on it and groove muchly

OH MY GOD! THE TUBE IS LATE! THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!
Work was terribly dull. Terribly. But what’s new. Got to interview some bloke. Seemed OK, but based in Essex. For fun He had the world’s smallest CV - and the interview ended with me an Rach giving him CV tips...was most amusing...
Finished almost on time and got home feeling wiped out. Was going to do some work but was too knackered so ended up watching Enterprise 4.02 and Galactica 1.01
Galactica wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Very odd storyline, guess they’re trying to do something different. No personal development whatsoever and a bit of pseudo god bollocks. Got to watch pretty CGI though by the same people that did Firefly, so not *all* bad.
And the Enterprise episode was almost good, until the “let’s make everything back the way it was” timeline shifting bollocks at the end. Was half expecting Dean Stockwell to pop out of the mess with a big cigar...
Pointless trivia - Donald P Bellisario links the two as he created Quantum Leap and was involved in the original Battlestar Galactica
So yeah. Got up to fuck all and went to bed early.
Dan meeting two women at Liverpool St today (the slag
) - so I told him last night to come over and stay at mine, as I’m way nearer Liverpool St than him, but he declined.
And then when he asked me to order him a cab I told him to get the bus and he declined too.
So I ordered him a cab for 8:15
How right am I? It still hadn’t arrived by 9:15 and he’s very late now. Bless
