right the bus journal entry) Dear Mr Jones, Thank you for your letter concerning problems experienced with our service [b]40[/b] recently: i obviously regret you found cause for complaint. I am aware that there have been a number of problems with the 1750 depature from the bus station. There have been instances where the driver has been less than alacritous in organising himself to take over the bus which arives from another route, but ewually this bus has itself been late in arriving, as has the dreiver himself from his previous run. It would seem that the opinion has been formed that the particular driver referred to is solely responsible for any delay, on the basis of which a couple of incidents have arisen and to which you have refered. I have received a number of reports concerning these, which perhaps not unsurprisingly vary in detail: somewhat ironically the main result has been yet more delay to the departure. To address the two main points at issue, i do not condone the actions of any driver whose conduct falls below the professional standard we would expect whatever the circumstance may have been. I now have sufficient information to ensure tha the appropriate action can be taken to stop anything like this happening in the future. Secondly there will be significant changes to our services from Northampton to Wellingborough and beyond in the new year as a result which new operating schedules will be necessary: I intend [b]the[/b] ensure ensure that the 1750 departure (or its equivalent) will be scheduled in such a way that it is not so prone to the sort of disruption that has been unfortunately the case. Any negligence on the part of our drivers we can control: peak-time traffice congestion is another matter altogether. In Conclusin i would ask you to accept my apologies for having had to experience such a degree of unpleasntness, but i have said i hope that this will now cease. As a small gesture of goodwill i am enclosing one of our EXPLORER tickets for you to use on a future occasion, when i am trusting nothing untoward will arise YOurs Sincerely Twatty Bus Station Manager xxxxx GRRRRR this letter has made me sooo angry! there were a few things which riled me, he got the serivice number wrong, he was insinutating that we were to cause of the lateness when it waas already late because of us asking why it was late, which i think is only an amicable thing to do and the fact that he gave me a cunting explorer ticket which is no used to me at all!
