It’s all about MEEEEEEEEEEE ! AND it’s all true!
Last nights opening gala of the 20th London lesbian and gay film festival was fab! Lisa Kudrow introduced the film - Happy endings - which is a must see. For more details go to www.llgff.org for more details of when they are showing the film again. I am sure it may be on general release soon, though possibly just at art house type cinemas. The queue for the gents toilet was fairly long - but I guess you know you are at a gala opening if Paul Gamaccini, Anthony Sher and Scott Capuro are queueing with you ! More filums tonight................

I am feeling very tired in the afternoons here in HQ and often feel like having a nap at my desk, but I don’t think that would be too popular. Last night I went to Pizza Express at Alban Gate to catch up with my friend Ian and we chatted for ages about his new relationship and also my very very very brief fling with Ronnie. I also got chatting to the waiter who has one arm mostly tattooed - I enquired about how far it went - he has two tats on his legs and one on his chest - apparently. Wouldn’t mind getting a close up of them sometimes. I have had a busy week going out most nights and tonight is no exception with a trip to the Opera. Tomorrow a fuck buddy is coming round to have some fun and then on Saturday I am out in the evening and a photo shoot is booked for Sunday.

I have just returned from FIlthy McNasties which is a favourite lunchtime haunt of Rachel’s and Dan’s and mine. We had a Thai lunch, and I had a pint of Hoegaarden which is always a mistake. My new line manager is not in today, as we are off to York tomorrow (and she does not work Fridays). I have been involved in a very sexy text messaging affair with someone from www.outeverywhere.com and am meeting him either on Saturday or Monday but I wish it was NOW.

I was SO bored in the office this afternoon. There is so much to organise but it is too early to do it all for the conference in September. I went to Myddeltons for lunch which I have not done for ages. I was so fed up I bought a brie and sunblushed tomato baguette, a huge chunk of carrot cake and a quarter of chocolate brazils. NB if you ever need to say sorry to me, or you ever feel sorry for me, or you like doing random things, then Choc brazils delivered to me would be ideal. I left at 5.30 and went to Carnevale restaurant where I dined alone before going to LSO St Lukes to hear Mitsuko Uchida play the piano. I don’t wish to name drop but www.royal.gov.uk/output/page422.asp the Duke of Kent was there. Also was Marcus and Kenny. No they are not a couple. But I have worked with both of them at some stage in the past. How nice to bump into them. Anne-Marie was with me of course. Came home after the concert and here I am typing this. I have some good news................I have taken tomorrow off as leave AND I have some spare tickets for the SOLD OUT Sony tropfest tomorrow night at the Barbican 9pm.

Went to see Little Fish at the barbican last night - it was excellent. I took outpages.com/bij2 with me and he came back and crashed at mine, except it was not possible for us to sleep because we were both very horny and hungry for each other. this continued this morning when we both woke up having slept fairly well together. It was a real chore saying goodbye to him when all I wanted to do was spend the day in bed with him.

Just been to Gufaa on Upper Street with two colleagues. I have never experienced such crap slow service and also an inability to get an order correct - all we wanted was three simple starts and three veg curries.......not one veg and two chicken curries! They wanted to charge us £3 for service - we declined to pay this. Also the old trick of giving you a pint glass full of ice and the pouring over one egg cup full of orange juice to make ti look full and charging you £3.25 for the privelege. My advice? don’t go there!
