The ramblings of a mildly incoherent mind...
Tea party
I’m in Boston. I didn’t want to come, even less so when my alarm went off at 5.45 this morning. At least it’s only 4 days. The hotel was fully booked last night and consequently they have no clean rooms ready (to be fair they do say check-in isn’t until 3pm). So I’m typing this in the lobby of the hotel for something to do. There was a ginormous man on the plane, he couldn’t stand upright (and it wasn’t a tiny plane either). I got upgraded so at least I was sat in a comfy big seat at the front. Never flown with American Airlines before, they seem on a par with Continental. In other news I’ve found a bloke. Anyone who knows me will realise that this is a bit of a breakthrough for me. Early days but I guess time will tell. Can’t wait to get back and see him next weekend. That means I’m gonna miss out on the last Shell Island weekend, but I guess that can’t be helped.

So I did the trip, was horrible and I had a crap birthday in the middle of it. Got asked to stay an extra week (originally I was only going for two days which ended up almost two weeks and they just expected me to stay for a third), I politely declined.
Anyway enough of that. aziraphale and I went to a concert last weekend in The Bridgewater Hall. Not classical, more kooky. Imogen Heap and special guests were on. This after waving off his gorgeous fella at the station and going to Wagamama’s for something to eat. She was gorgeous, mesmerising but slightly out there (actually forget the slightly). I’d already seen her so I sort of knew what to expect but aziraphale seemed a bit shell-shocked
We’re off to another concert tomorrow, this time at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester. Kathryn Williams kicks off her new tour there after releasing her new album last Monday. I’ve resisted buying the album so I can buy it at the concert and get KW to autograph it
In other news I spent 3.5 hours of this afternoon on the phone to a guy I’ve never met but am going to meet for lunch next Monday. It seemed like 5 minutes - eek!
