I haven’t put anything on here in a while cos, well nothing really happens. I know that’s my fault and I should make it so but I seem listless and full of apathy at the moment. I am jaded and tired, exhausted even and I don’t know quite what to do to shake that off. I still feel quite ill. I’ve sort of stopped taking the medication for the dizziness because I wasn’t sure it was doing anything, even the stronger dose. It seemed to at the start but then the effects just didn’t seem to be the same. So I’m still waiting (perhaps eternally) for an appointment at the hospital, though I have no idea whether they’ll be able to do anything anyway. Everything is chaos here at home. The gas tanks, lines and meters have been installed, though that meant the digging of trenches to all the buildings. I was assured that they would be filled in today, but having seen the landlord struggling with the elements today (it has been pretty awful here) I’m not surprised he’s abandoned the job for now. So about 18 inches out of my front door I have to make quite a leap across a crumbling trench if I want to go anywhere. A couple of friends should be arriving any minute and they’re stopping to tea, so that will be nice. I’m not sure whether Vonney will like the vegetable tempura I’m making but hey I’m sure she’ll give it a go.
