So Very Tired.

Thursday December 8th, 2005 at 9:30am

My plans for an early night yesterday were somewhat ruined by a large amount of overtime. I managed to work 14.5 hours - got in at 1:30am. Urgh. So I’m gonna be a little late this morning. Rah! Work went well, apart from the longness of it - it’s all doing what it’s meant to now and I feel like I’m actually achieving stuff now. Plus I’m getting the hang of direct DOM manipulation now in Java which is fun. Not really a lot to say about owt else as nothing really happened. Although I suspect I need to train flatmates how to clean my flat a bit better. Grr. “Kitchen’s clean” they claim but it’s not, they just washed up until the draining board was full, from all appearances. Sigh. Didn’t even attempt to make lunch in it today. I’ll get something out... So yeah - still very very tired. And a bit grumpy. Almost a week without alcohol, still smoking though. Don’t think I could have managed this week so far with hangovers - so that’s good : ) ref:Warren was bitching about christmas so I piped a christmas album through the stereo remotely. Gawd bless PuTTY and mplayer. Was that mean of me? : D Ramble ramble ramble. Spoke to Chris this morning, he was making a tower of Pro Plus. Sometimes I worry bout that boy! Kris Searle has mailed and fancies some new photies of him and Kieran - something wintery’d be cool, just trying to think of a location now. Would love for it to snow but no chance, unless I try something nawty again. Don’t think I’m strong enough at the moment anyways ; ) Seeing Chris Saturday. Will lunch somewhere and then wander a bit at a guess. Probably going to Retro in the evening. Pissed off that I can’t do anything fun as I’m skint. Gah. Got another final demand on Tuesday night and am about to get a gas bill too. Which I’m not looking forward to as TJ keeps turning up the fucking heating so he can prance around in shorts and not be cold. It’s winter! I got in last night and had to sleep with my window open it was so damn hot in the flat. Think I need words with that boy. He seems to forget I’m doing him a big favour letting him stay. I could easily get more for the room and not be in such financial shite. The Suntan Shop in Crisp St Market has a lovely sticker in the window claiming that research has shown sunbeds are good for you. They tackle amongst other things cancer (!!!) and obesity (!!!!) *ahem*
