Got up at 7ish - felt ill. Sore throat. Grr. I blame certain people at work coming in with sore throats last week. Pottered about a bit. Got on the 11am train to Sarfend. 3 quid off coz of my goldcard. Rah. Arrived at Benfleet at midday. Buses every hour. Got a cab Fixed ref:Mij’s PC - “This drive was last checked for errors 1,374 days ago” - bless ’em. Made it all work right again and removed the huge amount of unneeded crap on it. Picked up by Matt and dumped on the seafront - loads of totty. It was quite lovely. Got some amazingly good pics of the Red Arrows and the Lancaster bomber amongst others. 270 pics and my battery was still reading full. My camera rocks! Home on the 6 o’clock train. Had an easter egg from ref:Mij and an Xmas present from ref ee - a George Forman “lean mean grilling machine” thing. Will play with it later. Got back and cooked dinner - Steak Pie with steamed veg and minted babbeh potatos. Watched the final bits of Firefly - filming starts on Thurs on the movie. Yay. Adam Baldwin posted to “fireflyfans.net” that it was the best script he’d ever read. Excitement. Showed Adam “Grunts”, the King Cloth Bee film and Pancakes as well as watching punkass_puppy’s meat thing - which is outstandingly fun So less than early night for me. Slept *really* bad and got up feeling like my throat had been sandpapered and my eyes blowdried. Ick. Going to pop to Boots at lunch for cold/flu stuff and hope it makes me feel better
