Got in at just after 7 last night...have some lovely new scaffolding They are apparently doing up the outside of the building to make it look veypritteh. Blokey got lost trying to find the flat so chatted briefly with James. He was meant to pop my key over but had forgotten it. Predictably as soon as I asked if he wanted to pop in and see me anyway on his way back (as he was in Docklands) I got no reply. That kind of thing is getting tedious. Today’s excuse was “I didn’t see the message until I got home” after “I told you I was busy” - no mention of the fact that it was the second time we’d had the conversation...*sigh*. If he wants to stay friends, then fine, but it’s not going to work if he can only manage the convenient truths and little white lies...he seems to expect us to manage to stay close with zero effort on his part. Which just ain’t gonna happen. “I was never really interested in FreakCity” was yesterday’s gem. Following on from “Maybe for you, but I felt uncomfortable” a few days ago. I’m fully expecting “the sex really wasn’t that great” in a month or so... Did photographs - some came out OK - then installed the DAP software on “Manny” and wiped the DAP and squirted most of my mp3s onto it over night. Can’t find the original cable for it, so it’s plugged into my printer one - must buy a new one. Woke up at 5:30am. Couldn’t get back to sleep so coded enough of v2 to enable the forums to operate...accidentally broke the timewaster script as well, when I logged in I had apparently wasted somewhere close to 50,000 years online. Oops! More bug fixing for me in store at work. Joy. Hopefully meeting Adam tonight as he’s meant to be in town, and James is allegedly dropping my key in later, though not sure if I’m in or not...or sure if I should see him before we have words... What the fuck am I listening to?
