Shiver me timbers! Shorthand for “rollin on floor, laughin me arse off”, slightly more classy than that thar ubiquitous “LOL” , “laughin out loud” or that thar version often used by yen gay men, “LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL”, presumably “laughin out loud out loud out loud (ad nauseum)”. Which makes no sense, but then t’ me they rarely do.
